OK.. After riding in the very back and car 5 once, my early results are in.
The back... best airtime on the drop WOW!!!! Little airtime on the magnum hill..better air on the return hill from island and bunny hop. However the airtime is much better in the front then far back. A great rush and a totally different experience then front.
Car 5...A big rush. Air on the drop but not quite as much as back. And plenty of air on all three hills. Front, car 5 and back are all great seats to ride. Of course these are very early results and may change slightly after more rides. But I think they are pretty much on.

Row 1 car 5 I think gives the best overall ride. I felt excellent airtime on all the drops and the airtime down the first hill was almost as strong as the back seat. BTW, I've felt airtime everytime I've ridden this ride, regardless of seating.

you made me laugh by saying "in all its glory". when i was at cp, i kept saying "look at millennium force in all its glory" over and over. its just funny someone else said it.
favorite seat- i have ridden three times and i was given great seats.

Ok, I rode car 5 on the yellow train every seat. I got barely any airtime. The back is far better.

Monday - 9.2
Tuesday - 5.2

Incidentally, I timed the air this morning from 5.2 on the second hill - 4.1 seconds!! That's unreal air.

I did'nt like car 5. You don't get that much airtime. You get more in the back. 9-1 or 9-2.

I personally think the back really SUCKS big time. Can you say NO AIR. You could suffocate with the amount of air in the back. I repeat NO AIR IN THE BACK. Now hear this! Now hear this! For all of the people that love the back of MF, my dad and I are happy that you get a good ride back there. We unfortunately get NO AIRTIME BACK THERE!

I don't know what some of you are talking about. I have sat in the front, back and all over the middle. I have gotten monster airtime (the floaty kind) coming back from the island EVERY time. It is stronger the farther up you get, but it is still there in the back.
How can you say theres is none in the back. I was in seat 9-2 and yeah, the airtime is not in abudance as it is towards the front. But, to say theres NONE is ridiculous, man!
Jeff, and myself certainly experienced airtime in the last car on several occasions.

Good point Bill. I did'nt think about that. This was about 8:00 in the morning or so. Jeff, what time did they send the first train with us up for the discovery channel shoot? I'll give car 5 a chance again, like for a night ride. But so far the best airtime I've ever had was in the back on opening day.

Ive only rode i twice, but the latest time was in 1.2 and I didn't touch the seat at all on the Magnum Hill, the hop off the island, and the bunny hop. The one coming off the island gives the most air, it was great. Luckily, the ride op didn't push the bar down into my legs, I had about 2 inches. It was great.
The best seat is 5-1. It has the best airtime and G's of them all. Personally, I would pass up the first seat for it. I've gone in both, and 5-1 is a lot better.
I rode at 11am, but it was maybe the 10th train out, and it was fairly anemic. Some mild floating, but not like I've heard it gets late in the day.
Front for Awesome view. Middle for airtime. Back didn't do much for me, airtime wise. It doesn't matter where you sit it is an awesome ride, But if you want airtime(or should I say "float time") sit in the middle.
