You know you are from Ohio when....

I got this cute email the other day. Some of the thoughts will humor this board...

You know you are from Ohio when...

1. You're proud of your state fair, but would rather go to Cedar Point.

2. You always visit more than two amusement parks in one summer.

3. "Vacation" means spending a day at Cedar Point or King's Island.

4. You had to switch from "heat" to "a/c" in the same day.

(I just thought that last one was funny.)

Most of these copied from my website, copied from an email...

You know you are from Michigan when...

"Vacation" means going to Cedar Point.

There are two seasons. Winter and Construction.

You know how to pronounce "Mackinac"

You bake with SODA and drink POP.

You show people where you grew up by pointing to a spot on your hand.

Owning an import/Japanese vehicle is frowned upon. :P

You had to switch from "heat" to "a/c" in the same day.

Basicly all those apply to Indiana too! I got the e-mail about Indiana. I like the one about changing from heat to a/c in the same day.

Well the 4 season in Ohio are:

Almost Winter
WINTER
Still Winter
CONSTRUCTION (Unless of course it's at CP, which then Construction takes place in Winter ;))

Those sure do apply for Indiana!! Mainly the heat-a/c thing!

I love Cedar Point

Flisk, I heard the same thing about Michigan.

Coming from someone who lives in michigan but 5 miles from ohio and 10 miles from Indiana, those definitely work for all three.

BTW I refer to myself as a Hoosierbuckerine.

I am really more of an Ohioan who happens to Live in Michigan. I get Toledo, TV, Read the "Blah", Work in Ohio, shp in Ohio, tell people I live 40 mies west of Toledo etc etc.

You are the Weakest Link, Goodbye.

I-94? Try anywhere along Jefferson in St. Clair Shores, except for the Nautical Mile. And they say there's no more gravel roads in my city...

Try living not too far from I-280. They are putting up a nice new big bridge. It is the biggest constuction project in the state of OH. Lucky us...more construction.

Speaking of contruction, If you are driving through Lansing on the way to CP, there is lots of construction on I-96. Expect delays.
