Aw, I'm so sad that X-Flight is being dismantled.
I mean, its not a great coaster...but its one of the parks better ones.
Its given me some good rides and memories.
Farewell X-Flight.
Enjoy your flight!!!

Obviously, some on here have never heard the phrase, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it at all"
What was the purpose of posting Good Riddance? Or finally!!!! should've never had that boring ride in there in the first place?
Apparently, someone is making a tribute to a coaster they love and are doing something meaningful to them. Why do you have to come in here and make such posts? It's not like you didn't know what the thread was about since it's titled X Flight tribute.
I'd like to see the tribute when it's finished.

Somebody get in here with the waaah-mbulance again...
When I said "Good riddance", I was being nice. X-Flight is a fine enough ride, but it doesn't fit in at Geauga Lake.

No, it was not being nice. The fact that X-Flight doesn't "fit in" with GL has nothing to do at all with the topic at hand.
Love the childish waaah-mbulance comment. Can't come up with anything better?
I certainly won't miss X-Flight. But my daughter talks about riding it every time we go to the park. It's the first coaster on the way in, so it catches her imagination. She's not tall enough yet, and now she won't ever get to ride it -- unless we take the trek to Kings Mills.

X-Flight is the flying coaster a flying roller coaster.
x-flight is going be at Paramount's Kings Island.
Maybe I missed it in the other thread, especially since I didn't pay too close attention during the holiday weekend, but where was it said that this was going to Kings Island?
I'm just curious if its official or just kiddie speculation.

Totally kiddie speculation. See other thread regarding 'kids' and terrorist threats. ;)

There's now rumors going around that it's heading to MiAdv.....which makes MUCH more sense. *** Edited 11/27/2006 11:13:42 PM UTC by TTD 120mph***

YAY for rumors. What bugs me is when people like Bryan Edwards or other park spokesmen say they don't know something. I wish they'd rather just say they can't disclose that information at the time or something like that. Basically when they say they don't know, they're lying. Cedar Fair knows where its going, they just don't want to tell anyone yet - which is fine. Just don't lie about it.
edit: changed point to fair. *** Edited 11/28/2006 4:22:43 PM UTC by halltd***
Dude, I've said it before... they probably don't know. They don't broadcast every little detail to everyone in the company.

If the park spokesman doesn't know where one of their "signature" rides is going, the company needs to work on their internal communication. That's basically the same as everyone backing up the fact that Tony and Tyler didn't know what Maverick was. They know. Its a small enough company to require that they know. Things like dismantling a coaster and sending it somewhere else can't be handled by one person.
