Highly unlikely but maybe they are just gonna store the track at Kings Island. (fingers crossed that its not)

If I'm a fan of PKI (which I've never been to the park, so I'm neutral), but if I'm a fan, I'm kinda ticked that in our first off-season after being bought by Cedar Fair we're getting a hand-me-down coaster. And not like a Cedar Point HMD, but a Six Flags Ohio HMD.

Believe me...people in Cincinnati will be excited. It has been quite some time since we received a decent coaster. I don't mind at all that it's coming from Geagua Lake.

99% of the people that go to Kings island, never even been to geauga lake and / or will not even know it came from another park.

Yep I was visiting UC at the beginning of January and I talked to some of the engineering students. Believe it or not, they said about 70% of the engineering students that come in have roller coasters on the brain. Anyways, they were all talking about how they were getting a "Superman type coaster" at King's Island. At that point, I knew it was X-Flight. I didn't say anything to them about it coming from Geauga Lake though. We also discussed Son Of Beast and it's situation. The loop was no longer there when I drove past PKI. This was on January 5th.

You can sneak a used coaster in as new to unsuspecting guests but one thing that will not change is that XF (or whatever it will be called) is a piece of junk as PKI guests will soon find out.

X Flight is not a piece of junk! It may not have run the best 100% of the time, but take into consideration that CF purchased the park from SF in somewhat of a deteriorated state. I'll admit, at first I was wary of it because it was a flyer...but after riding it the first day 3 times in a row I have come to love it.

How long do you think it'll take for them to get it up and running?

I'm surprised how sad I am seeing those pics. GL might have a lot of things going wrong, but dammit, it's my park.

I didn't believe it, even after seeing the photos of the track. But if you say Wikipedia has the news, that removes all doubt! ;)
