Wyandot Lake?
hey does anyone know who owned wyandot lake in powell ohio before six flags, just thought i would ask.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Wyandot Lake was originally the Columbus Zoo Amusement Park, and was operated by Gooding Amusements, then I think the Zoo ran it for a while. Finally, along about 1984 or so, FunTime (that's the Lococo family, which ran Geauga Lake) was brought in to operate the park. I don't know who paid for what, but they built a water park, cleaned up the amusement park, and ran it for a while.
Premier Parks bought FunTime, which included Geauga Lake, Wyandot Lake and Darien Lake, in 1995 or 1996.
Premier Parks bought Six Flags in 1997, and later changed its name to Six Flags Theme Parks.
