WT's Intensity

Has anyone noticed that Wicked Twister's launch and overall ride has gotten more intense since opening day, or is it just me?
It's definately not just you, for some reason I like Raptor a lot more because the smoothness is there. The laterals on Wicked Twister bang meĀ  around pretty good, and the whole ride itself was crazy. My only rant is that nobody is there....everyone is still at Millennium Force and the most I have waited was 1 hour. This part of the park just seemed empty to me, did anyone else find this to be true?

yeah I have rode it 8 times and the longest I have waited was 20 min.And about it's intensity I would agree it is just plain nuts.

What are you people doing to get "banged around" on this ride?

I think the ride is intense, but haven't noticed an increase in it from opening day. And I'm quite happy about the low wait times!

As for getting banged around, I haven't noticed that much either. I'm careful to keep my head back before the launch, and there is much more twisting action if you sit in the back or front.

I DID notice the next morning after my last trip (Thursday, May 16) that I had bruises on my arms, one on each in exactly the same place (upper front)on each arm. I can only assume it happened on WT, but I don't recall feeling banged up. Maybe because I enjoy the ride so much.

The laterals whipped me around a lot pretty good. I am complaining about the lack of people there because when I'm there I feel so away from everything. It just kinda gets me down how Cedar Point made such a nice effort to fix this part of the park up, and nobody seems to notice. Hmm....maybe it's just me...

Okay I have a question here... If I get pretty nautious on Raptor, do any of you think it will be like that for me on WT?

*I can handle Raptor but it just makes me very nautious when I get off the ride... I don't throw up but it takes me a half hour to recover from the nautiousness.*

I don't think WT is that intense, and I thought it was pretty smooth. AND I waited about an hour for it!

How many times have you rode the Raptor? I've noticed that on different days...coasters aren't that appealing to me...other times I can't get enough. Kinda fluctuates with your mood, and physical well being each day!

Try Dramamine II - great stuff! You don't want the regular Dramamine because that can get you drowsy. I'm a coaster fanatic, but if I ever took a trip without taking the Dramamine, I'd be out of it after one spin on Raptor, Mantis or even Corkscrew.

I don't have a girlfriend. But I do know a woman who'd be mad at me for saying that.

Duane, where do you get that Dramamine II stuff? Is perscription?

Any drugstore/Wal-Mart should have it. It should be right next to the regular dramamine. I'm not sure they call it "Dramamine II" anymore. Look for the "less drowsy formula".

I went to a job interview. The first question the guy asked me was "Who are you"? I had to think, was he being really deep, or did I show up at the wrong interview?
