WT Seats?

Well, I hope I can ride it. I know I can fit into Millennium Force okay. I am 6'0 and about 280. I will try the test seat first, wish me luck

I am 6' 250 lbs with broad shoulders. I got in allright, but it did pinch my shoulders a little when we were going backwards and I was being pushed into the restraint. I also learned the hard way that you do not want to jump out of the seats at the end. The ride exerts some nice forces of your legs, and with the hight of the trains, it makes for a pretty nice pulled muscle if you jump. The key is to lower yourself onto the floor.

You should be fine... I'm 220lbs, 6'3" and have the build of a Mack truck and I fit fine....

6 laps so far :)

I had one hell of a time but I managed. I am 5'6", 250 with a 44 waist. If the belt was less than an inch shorter I could have fastened it myself, as it was, it took Brent pulling down on the inside and the ride op pulling on her side. and yes the seat in row 8 was easier to buckle than row 16. In the test seat outside I had no problem buckling it my self. I really hate side fastening belts.

Why is it that Runaway Reptar has roomier seats than Wicked Twister, or even Raptor?

It's nice to hear they are allowed to help people in considering late last year when ride ops on Mine Ride could not even touch the bar and we had to lower it ourselves.

I still don't get why some seats are bigger than others as mentioned above. I hope they fix that test chair or it could lead to some problems.

AS RIDEMAN STATED ABOVE:

"On Wicked Twister, be advised, it isn't the beer belly that will keep you from riding, it's the height and broad shoulders. The arm extending from the pivot point forward to the shoulder bar is too short. Fixing that problem would allow the bottom of the bar to come down more for most riders."

I agree totally with him. It seems to me that a lot of these rides are constrained more by the height/broadness/width of one's shoulders not by the person's stomach so much. There are many rides that make it either a very tight squeeze or I don't fit because of the poorly designed OTSR systems used. It is a shame that the rides cannot be designed more easily fittable for large shouldered individuals. I can't lose my shoulders....like one can lose weight.

Just to continue with the broad shoulder theory, I fit in Raptor with 1 or 2 clicks to spare down from the maximum up allowed by the seat belt. Wicked Twister is a squeeze for me.
