WT Rocks!

I went on WT during coastermania and it was really running fast and furious. I thought at one point we were going to hit the back stop. I rode WT 7 times and it was great every time. Keep up the good work CP.

I too thought it was amazingly fast and furious , I didnt get my first ride on WT until late in the season last year , I thought it was a great ride and couldnt get any better , I went a couple of weeks ago and sat in the very last seat as I did last year, but this ride was a totally different expierence this year , holy crap ! I felt the entire spiral effect on that back spike ! I thought it was gonna hit the back stop also .It actually scared me this time ,oh but what a wonderful scare , it wasnt going that far up the spikes last year .

maybe cp realized since they added those supports they could now make it faster and higher and not have people worried it would fall over!!, has anyone been on a train that hit the back stop before??

Yeah,when you go up the back spike for the first time it is the same as it was last year but going up the last time goes higher than last year.It actually felt like I did a full 360 than last years 270 degrees.

I agree it's running great this year. And thanks to CoasterMania I got about 12 rides in.

After watching it for several launches and riding it several times we can definately tell that the original program is back. I could not believe the intensity. WT is a blast now that it goes closer to the top. Getting screwed in the back has never been so intense.

I still can't tell if it's the original program or not, but this new one is better. Or, maybe we've all forgotten what the ride was like during the Winter and it's the same. :p

i agree that after all the bugs, wt has finally cleaned up its act, just like mf it has become an efficient ride

My first ride is Saturday, I can't wait.

The second to last seat on the right side (8-2 maybe?) is the money seat IMO. You get almost the full 450 degree twist, and a 200 foot straight down view of the ground :)

I agree with that.I always get that seat.It's the one with JIM carved on the restraint.

Yeah.. but.. I wouldn't sit there if you're not Jim. He's pretty protective of his seat.

It's not completely back to the original program. Remember, it originally got all the way up the back spike both times. It gets it's original height now on the second time going backwards, but the first time still only goes halfway up.

Wow ! you mean it got all the way up the back spike twice , wish i could of rode it then , it was last october when i got my first ride and i watched it launch several times while in line and i never saw it go near the top on the back spike either time and i still thought it was pretty intense I didnt realize the program had been changed from earlier in the year . But i sure got the ride of my life a couple weeks ago i was in the back seat on the right side and i got the full spiral effect this time, i have to say it was very intense and unexpected since my ride last year was totally different and not near as intense .I dont know about the regular program but this one is sure ok with me !

That is so funny I sat in the seat with Jim carved into it one of the times i rode,another time i rode i got the VERY back, also when I went, which would be June 5th, Wicked Twister was making it up the spikes, it was a great ride

Born To Ride The Rollercoaster

This ride is incredible, I don't know what just thrills me about this ride, the announcer playing with the launch/countdown, the way you are just back and forth, higher and higher, and your adrenaline doesn't stop while the ride is still in motion.

I'm glad they added the extra cushioning to the platform, but I would call this one of my top four rollercoasters in Cedar Point, well five.

1 - Top Thrill Dragster

2 - Millenium Force

3 - Wicked Twister

4 - Raptor

5 - Magnum

all five of these coasters should be top five in the world next year.

lol...my friend carved jim into that seats restraint. Oddly enough we arent from ohio. I didnt know it would make it to these boards.
