WT on Tech Live

On the Dec. 3rd show of Tech Live on Tech TV they had a little segment on WT. They did a nice job on getting the stats right, the only problem was they said it goes to 72 mph in 2.8 seconds. Maybe on the 2nd or 3rd launch, but not the first. All in all, it was a complete suprise to see our WT on Tech Live.

That's not their fault, that's the way the park presents it. They never get specific about when it reaches that speed.

True, but I wasn't complaining as much as I was pointing out what they said. It was a very good little segment. They started it out by saying something like, "Don't live in Oklahoma, well you don't have to be there to see a Wicked Twister". I thought they were just going to cut into something like a new computer program or something, not Cedar Point. LoL.

I totaly agree Big D. I am pretty much anti-cable and all for my nice DirecTV. It's kind of funny, my friends with cable pay like $40 a month for about 70 channels (about 9 of which are shopping channels), and I pay $36 and get over 135 channels. Oh well, the world will switch some day.

I have dish network ....ever since i switched, I was so happy. The Digital signal, and the picture quality was amazing. The Cable here costs $48 for the Premium channels, NYC has the highest Cable rates in the country. Personally i dont see why people sign up for it.

The only thing i was afraid of...was that people told me that when the weather is bad the signal gets bad. WRONG!...Its been through Thunderstorms, Snow, Ice...Anything, Signal didnt change. Neither did the reception.

all you "high-tech" people out there, i have lived on like the "local" channels all of my life, and still do and needless to say i live in BFE and they don't come in to great so most of the time its movie night at my place!

oh and i wish i could have seen that, it would have been kewl!

dishnetwork is great but it does lose its signal when it rains real hard
Not here. I never had ANY Signal loss during hard weather conditions. It also depends on where you are located.

It's seems to me that everytime I turn on Tech-TV it is always Tech-Live. But hey, there are 150 other stations :)
------------------
Omygosh, it's leaning!
I only loose my signal like 2-3 times a year, but when I loose it (because of one of our nice thunderstorms) it's only out for a minute or two usualy. The longest it's ever been out was 10 minutes last year during a really big storm.

When I had cable it went out all of the time. The "new digital cable", well, isn't digital, and is not worth what they charge. Enough of my ranting.
