WT backwards

Was wicked twister originally supposed to launch facing the north instead of the way it is now. I seem to remember when it first was being built they had an animation or drawing that it was facing the opposite way, and I was looking at the map for this year, and the picture is backwards on that too. So I was wondering if anyone knew why, or cp is just lazy and doesn't fix the map

No, not at all.

Come check out the videos at www.extremepki.com

It is just soposed to give you a general idea of the park. Not every little detail it exact.

It wouldn't be able to go the other way because they had room for the station only on the current side. Giant Wheel and DT are in the way. The Aquarium was knocked down to make room.

It's only on the park map. But according to the park map, Dragster has a 450 degree twist and Blue Streak is pink.

2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator

I knew it probably wasn't originally supposed to go the other way, but does anyone remember one of the original drawings or maybe animations that had it going the opposite way as well

^ The animation on the Cedar Point website shows WT facing south, the way that it stands now.

Roller Coasters are to Inversions as Gymnastics is to Flips
What's the Difference?

Yeah know.....that would be a huge mistake if that would happen.

When a local highschool in my area was built maybe 80 years ago, the person who designed the school built in backwards. Instead of facing North, the main building faced South. He then killed himself for his mistake.

That's pretty cool. Where is 'your area' at?

Here they just spent $78 million dollars on a high school, and unfortunately, nobody killed themselves for such wasteful spending.

78 million for a high school? Does it come with a personal vineyard for Biology class? But I wouldn't know the going price for a highscool.. is that a normal price?

My highschool was built backwards due to coal mines they weren't aware of until theey started digging.

The 3 floors were supposed to be in the back and the 2 up front so that the rear of the school was actually sunk down into the ground. Instead the rear is up on a hill and the front sits at ground level.

September 8th is the night. Our high school lost to Brother Rice 2 or 3 years ago. Good luck.

If your referring to Waite HS in Toledo Ohio, this information is only partially true. While it's true that it was infact built backwards, the designer/builder did not commit suicide for that reason.

Thats an old wives tale.
