Would you go today?

I want to go to the park today, but there is a huge blob of rain on the radar. It looks like it could rain a good part of the day.

So long as you go with the expectation that it could rain for much of the day, why not? Beats sitting at home/work, if that's the alternative.

Since it would mean not being at work, yes, I would go today.

My problem is using the gas to drive up there. I don't want to go if I can only get on about 2 or 3 rides.

My only other option is Saturday and there will be huge crowds that day.

I've made my decision. I'm going! That blob of rain looks like it will be through by the time the park opens. And the second batch looks like it will be around 4 by the time it gets there. Then I think the evening will be clear.

Can I ask if you guys think Monday might be the least crowded for this weekend?

Posting from the park now. Not too bad of a day. No rain now. Maverick is not running though. :(

I just saw the Michigan thread after reading yours, hopefully the rain has scared them off for today. I hope you have a good time, Thabto, and that Maverick gets up and running. I was bummed Friday night when Millenium and Magnum were both down.

Magnum is also down right now.

I'm going on Monday! Based on what I've heard, Monday is usually the least busy. But each year is different!

Today ended up not being that bad of a day. The rain ended by the time I got there and not a drop of rain fell the whole time I was there except around closing time. I would have regretted not going today. It would've been better if Maverick opened today.

Glad you had a good day. According to the TTD web cam it didn't look too crowded. What were the wait times like on TTD and MF. I bet GK and Raptor were a walk on later in the day.

MF, I walked right on at Park opening. TTD, I had to wait about 20 minutes. Mean Streak actually had a line yesterday. Probably from people who headed to Maverick, but saw it wasn't open. Raptor was walk on about 8:30 last night and GK I went to near park closing and waited about 15 minutes.
