Worst CP experience

What is the worst thing that has ever happenned to you at CedarPoint? Mine was waiting in line for TTD for 4 hours and then it broke down when I was on the ramp and never ran again that night. :( *** Edited 6/27/2006 11:17:00 PM UTC by Jerreus***

Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27

One time went and it was really really really hot. I sweated like forever.;)

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

One time I got stuck on MF, in the break-run, for almost an hour. It was almost noon, so the sun was killing us, but this was during the 2002 season, so they gave us an exit pass; so in retrospect; it was well worth it ... So maye this wasn't such a bad experience lol.

Last public train of 2005 on MF!

For some reason, I tend to get hit by things...

-Getting hit by a camera on Magnum.
-Getting a stone kicked up by the train into my eye while riding the train.
-And everything else pretty much involves waiting a very lengthy amount of time for food.

Waiting an hour for MillenniumForce back in 2000 UPTO the part where you actaully get into the line/switchbacks and I was a little guy back then and they measured me and said I wasn't tall enough but the "flag measuring thing" hit my head half the time. So my two older sisters went on the ride, while my dad and mom took me all the way to the front of the park to get my offical height and I was clearly past 54" so I got a wristband saying I was tall enough and went back to the front of the switchbacks (line still backed up way back in MeanStreak direction) and my parents were pissed, but then some lady working there didn't think the wristband was real and tried to measure me again but then the guy that told us to go to the front of the park told us we could pass. We then waited another 2-2and1/2 hours to get on the ride...

Funny thing was...
When we were waiting in line to get my offical height, the lady in there was yelling at some kid, and his parents because he put napkins in his shoes, WHICH my parents did to me years before when I was around the 47 and 1/2 inch mark and I wasn't able to ride the "Mine Ride" ( which was a 48inch min.)

Also. It happened at Valleyfair (CedarFair)
Back a long, long time ago when they used to have Halloween stuff I went in a Haunted House (bad idea for a youngster) and it was the first part of the attraction and some guy had this chain and swung it around and hit the table real hard and I either:
Got hit by the chain
or- some flew up from the table that he hit me

I got to scared (without knowning I was hurt) we left, and my parents noticed that I had a slash on my face that started to bleed, but I don't remember feeling the impact. *** Edited 6/27/2006 9:47:44 PM UTC by DrunkinMonkey***

It's hard for me to have a bad experience. Everything at the park is so much better than everyday life (waiting in line is boring, but at least you're in the park).

If I had to pick, riding MF front seat in a hard steady rain was the most painful experience I've ever had.

My was getting stoped at the brakes on the raptor for 1/2 hour and then another one was on DD i was at the top for 1 hour. It was me and then like 3 girls (hot ones). But all they did was scream for help i was ready to fall.

Bring back Boblo!

Mine was getting stuck on Millennium Force hill on the front seat for almost half an hour because someone thought it was funny to report a loose seat belt when everyone was buckeled in anyway. At leased I got a second ride in the front row without wait. :)

I gotta agree with Gomez. It's hard to describe events as really 'bad' when you're at this amazing place. But if you're going to put me on the spot...

Last year, my mom and I took my then three-year-old daughter. This was in the evening. We decided to take a spin on the train, and left the stroller (my own, not a park one) by the depot at Mean Streak. People leave strollers all the time while they ride rides, and nobody ever touches them.

Anyway, the train stopped at the depot by Iron Dragon, and they had everybody get off. Told us they had to change trains, and it would be at least a half hour before they would be running again.

No big deal, right? Except it started downpouring, trapping us in the depot. Which was about the time my daughter, very tired, decided to start screaming to all the world that she wanted to go home. I had to sprint all the way across Frontiertown through a downpour and standing water, getting soaked and chilled.

Then when I got to the back depot, I discovered that somebody had maneuvered our stroller out from the shelter so their stroller would stay dry. Our stroller and all my daughter's supplies were soaked, some ruined. In the end I had to spend fifty bucks on ponchos and beach towels from a stand near Thunder Canyon, just so we could dry off enough to go home.

I blame Cedar Point not in the slightest. It was just one of those things that happened. Now I can laugh about it -- with gritted teeth, but laughing. Quietly.

Working there.

My worst experience has to be leaving the park........ :(

P.S. 400 POSTS!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!

Ben, is working there really that bad? :)

Mine doesn't involve the park, it involves Breaker's Express. Just picture this: your first night there, you get back from the Thirsty Pony, and your room won't open. You have to have 2 park matinance guys come over to check it out, it takes almost 1.5 hours and you get your room open, get your stuff, then get transferred to a new room on the 2nd floor. Yeah, all that plus other problems dealing with check in and never getting wake up calls, extremely rude employees, and open wall recepticles.

My only advice is to never stay at BE. It has changed a lot since we stayed there 4 years ago. :(
