i was talking about this in line with Hooper and Scooter and we all agreed that it looks like there is room for another set of magnetic brakes right after the first set. why couldn't they just add another set there to actually STOP the train, instead of just slow it down? that would then add another block to the track and allow maybe an extra 10 or 15 seconds, all of which add up in the long run. wouldn't it make sense that a ride that fast with no mid-couse brake should have SIX OR SEVEN blocks, not five?? like extra padding of sorts??? there certainly seems to be at LEAST one train-length of space there between brakes and station...sure, kicker wheels might be needed, but so what??? it's an old technology that still works...

i'm back and my brain is still scrambled...
Servo...You should suggest that to CP personally, I think it is a very good idea and it could work. Good thinking.

can't believe they cancelled the Simpsons after all these years...now look sad and say D'OH!!
Actually, there isn't enough straight track to add additional brakes. The retractable brakes just uptrack from the exit platform WILL stop a train, I've seen it happen. Those prior the last small bend will not, since they're on an incline.
