I saw the Discovery Channel special on Cedar Point at midnight last night. By now it's information is a bit outdated...no WT.

That show originally aired last summer, and I've seen it replayed several times. It is a very good show, but I think there should have been more done with the rides. They didn't even show Blue Streak or Disaster Transport.

Yeah I saw it when it first aired but I hadn't seen it until last night...I think that the rides could have been paid more attention to, but it was interesting to see behind the scenes type stuff.

I think they should go back and make it 2 hours. I mean with commercials and stuff they could easily fill the extra time. Im kindof new to here so I was just wondering who is Dan Haverlock

I could have been on that Discovery Channel special. They taped it during the 2000 season. Unfortunitely yours truly had to work, on Raptor or all things :) and couldn't get the time off to help with the shooting :(
Guess I will just have to settle with the small appearance on the "Top 10 Rollercoasters 2002" show then huh? ;)

Some guy in my department yesterday at work:
"Hey Jo, did you know you were on TV Sunday night? I thought you liked that Raptor thing-how come you did the Magnum? I was like, dude-I work with her!!"

"Yeah, I saw it two months ago and have been watching them. I can recite the Cedar Point show by memory by now."

Yeah it was a really nice surpirse to see us employees being focused on instead of just the rides and what not.

After the cP special, there was 2 more hours of rollercoaster stuff:
-Extreme rides 2002
-Top 10 rides 2002

And wicked twister was featured in Extremerides 2002, at the end for about 2 sec, and was a computer generated image.

LOL. Seems like Dan's whereabouts are discussed more than those mysterious footers...

Outdated or not, the program is exceptional. Heck, I still plan to buy it sometime (if there's any left during HalloWeekends!).
