World's Largest Amusement Park on Tape...

Today in the mail was my copy of Cedar Point: The World's largest Amusement Park on tape. It DOES have the Planning and Design footage. Overall its a GREAT show. Here are some random thoughts:

- Planning and Design footage: Is really cool. I love the models. I love them so much I am going have to make me some models.

- Magnum Part: I noticed that it wasn't the same as on the "Top Ten Coasters". I noticed that the POV video is new... by the looks of the sky, I take it they shot it the same day(Top Ten Coasters had the POV from the early '90s). Great Job Dan.

- Millennium Force inspection: That would be one cool job. You would be able start you day on top of the world.

- Dick Kinzel and Don Miears: It was great to see how much they both care for the park.

I post some more comments when I sit down and watch it tonight(I just watched it real quick to see what its like). It was more than worth buying it on tape.

Ooo, goody, I'll have to buy it. But I'll wait until it comes to the stores (there's one in a mall near here) since I always have problems with the Discovery Channel website. And I don't care to pay shipping/handling fees, anyway.

The one you buy on tape is 8 minutes longer... it features the Planning and Design footage(with the blueprints part) and color/sign department when the one on tv doesn't.

Can someone please give me the address of CP's video from www.discoverystore.com? I hate calling a complete stranger and giving out Credit Card info.

I belive you cannot order it online nor in the stores... Its a special order. When I called the lady couldn't find it at first but then she found it saying it was a special order. Since it was a special order I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to ship so I asked where else it would be available for order and she said it was only available to order from calling.
