Work on the Island

Virtual Midway has a map that shows work being done on the island. anyone seen anything?

pictures show it too

Maybe the ride starts on the island. that would be cool.

The ride won't start out on the island...more like the former Troika site.

I really hope they don't totally destroy the Paddlewheel Excursions with this one. I'm excited about this ride, but it seems like each coaster they add to the park takes away a little bit from this ride. Does anyone have an idea of what kind of stuff it's suppose to do on the island?

Looking at the construction space how would one compare the size of the construction space to MF and Mean Streak...

Although I couldn't go there today, from the pics, it looks like it will have a fairly spread out layout. However, like MF, it looks like it should mostly be on the island.

Why do you say that? I like being able to see the coasters from a different angle. PWE gives some great views of both Mantis and Millenium Force.

I wonder if Mantis will get a new paint job now? Sure seems like it would be a bad idea if they didn't.....considering the whole world will be watching and taking pictures (wouldn't want that ugly paint showing in the background).

Is it jsut me or are the webcams down?
