Words of support?

I'm bringing a "MF first timer" to the Point on July 4th and 5th. He's 27 and hasn't been on a coaster since he was a teenager. He thinks that the coasters are going to make him throw up. I so want to get him on the Force, but I don't want him to psych himself out with fears of throwing up from a bumpy, rough ride.

Any words of support or advice to help me get him on the ride from you FULL FORCERS out there?

Start with Millennium Force. It's the most gentle coaster in the park, but don't tell him that. After a ride on Millennium Force he'll be ready to take on anything...even the Wildcat.

And NO. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING WILDCAT FIRST!

If he can handle Millennium Force, he can handle anything!

"If everything seems undercontrol, you're not going fast enough!"
Take him to the Millennium Force entrance/exit, and make him look at the children on the ride. "If they can do, surely I can do it." Works all the time. :)

Well MF was the best experience of my life...

NOW ENJOY YOUR RECORD BREAKING RIDE ON MILLENNIUM FORCE. CLEAR.
Tell him that we've had 5 year olds on the ride and that if they can handle it he can! :)
Tell him that my 6 year old younger brother went on it!
He hadn't been to a park since he was 15... he's 27 now. I made him watch several shows about coasters which had Raptor, Mantis, and The Force on them. All he would ever say after seeing MF is "That is SO wrong..."

When we were drving up the causeway, he saw the ride and just starting shaking his head "no".

We rode Mantis first -- geesh, an hour and thirty minute wait! I've never waited over 15 minutes for it. He kept his eyes closed during the enitre ride, but said he liked it, although it left him a little shaken. We his Mean Streak next... only a 15 minute wait. (She was just "mean" that day... she was "Death Streak" the next day!) When we got off the ride, he said that he like it, but that first drop was "a b!tch" because it felt like you just kept dropping and dropping. He then said that he was ready to try Millennium Force. We wait for about and hour and 15 minutes. He was cool in line, but once we were seated -- in my beloved YELLOW train -- he started to panic. He said that he felt "too exposed" and wanted off, but it was too late to ask the op to let him off becaude the train had started to move. He just looked straight ahead and had a death grip on the bar in front of him through out the ride. When we got off, he looked and me and said "That was pretty cool, but for a minute there I really hated you!"

We rode it again the next day!
