Yesterday, my daughter cried for 10 minutes after we were told that she could not ride. We rode this ride last year and it was one of her favorites.

Da Midget was barely 48" last summer; which meant the VF Pole Nazis would stand her on the steel platform and smack her in the side of the head from every imaginable angle until she would hunch over--you know, like someone who doesn't like getting hit--after which they'd tell me she's too short. A little applied common sense led to a few laps on our Enterprise one day last summer and she loved it. While she's still a little hesitant to board any 'grown-up' coaster this season, she was looking forward to some quality time on her favorite looping spin-and-spue. Poor Midget. First they slam the door shut on her Northern Lights exeperience as a three year-old and now this.
Spare me any pointless safety lectures--I rode WW as a four-footer, CBaby rode it as a four-footer and so did my 6 year-old. The last thing any parent in their right mind would do is allow their youngster to come to harm. Face it: They don't need an amusement park for that when the local playground offers ten times the peril for free.

I know what you're saying though. SFGAM is closer and offers a lot more 'short folk' options for the buck IMHO. I just needed to blow off some steam. Poor little Midget. Is she ever gonna be upset.
