So, I really am not a fan of spinning rides, but I do enjoy maXair and Wicked Twister, without getting dizzy which is the main reason why I don't like spinning rides. My friends are pressuring me to ride the Witches Wheel when we go next week, but I'm not too sure about it. People have rode it, do you think I'll be fine, dizziness wise, if I can tolerate maXair and Wicked Twister?
Yes, you can tolerate it. I'm too scared to ride maXair but I still will ride Witches Wheel.. Wicked Twister makes me more dizzy than Witches Wheel does. Try it. It's a fun ride. :)
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force
Favorite flat: maXair
I always felt the same way as you and then one of my friends finally convinced me to get on it. I m very glad that I did, I find it to be very relaxing.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I guess some rides affect people in different ways. I thought Witches Wheel was the worst motion sickness experience ever, only topped in later years by that torture device known as Chaos. :)
Everyone is different. As strange as it may sound, Witches Wheel is the only ride that I have ever been on where I felt sick. I can ride Max-Air and the old Chaos over and over but for whatever reason WW makes my head hurt and stomach queasy. Just try it out and see how it goes, hope you like it!
With Witches Wheel I either ride with my eyes open the whole time, or closed the whole times to further enhance the relaxation. It's when I close them for a bit then open them when I feel the sickness.
As for Chaos, I've never missed a ride so much.
