I'm just glad they finally reclassified Pipe Scream as a thrill ride, NOT a roller coaster.

There are some pictures circulating online of new t-shirt designs, other merch.

Two things became obvious; 1) Six Flags is using AI to cheaply design some of the shirts, and 2) Six Flags does not know how to use AI to design shirts.

Here is a picture of one the new trains on Millennium Force. At least we know what they are doing with the old Snake River Falls boats.

Promoter of fog.

Was there anything in particular announced in any groups this year during the event that is new for the 2026 season? Any new restaurants? Upgrades?

I did see CPRundown posted two things I feel like regulars here would be happy about:

  1. Renovation of the bathrooms near the Barnyard.
  2. New entrance sign at Cleveland Rd. once the roundabout is completed. This will finally get rid of that basic blue Cedar Point sign that’s there right there. The park must’ve known it was going to be temporary all this time.

It's obvious that the park is dealing with the major financial issues the chain is dealing with. One of an endless number of things I don't like about the merger - Cedar Point is now affected by issues that were inherited from Legacy Six Flags + the shortsighted missteps of the first year of the new company.

That said, new bathrooms are always good. And we were told in our Q&A Gemini is set to be racing again this year after the significant downtime that plagued blue side most of last year.

After the one-two punch of TT2/Sirens, I am more than happy with spending the next few years making sure they operate and maintain the things they already have.

I wonder if any rides will be getting a fresh coat of paint.
