And because I turned around when I was shooting WindSeeker, here's a bonus shot of Magnum.

That is my son in the video with the basketball. He talking to his Grandmother on the phone about the lights. She usually comes to CP with us, but did not that evening.

We went over to see the WindSeeker lights Friday about 9:30. I saw someone with a tripod shooting video of the lights. and wondered if he was from PointBuzz or one of the other CP sites. I almost went over and asked.

The video is excellent, however it only shows some of the many different variations the lights go through. The lighting is very impressive. I like how the color of the tower matches the bottom of the sign and they change to match each other simultaneously. We sat there about 10 minutes watching the lights change.

I just hope that CP can keep the lighting in working order, otherwise this will look exceptionally bad. There are still large portions of lights out on Scrambler that were out last year. That's a ride that has a many multi-color lights, though not near was elaborate at WS. When large sections aren't working the ride looks bad.

As for WindSeeker, the lights are a show in themselves. Good job.

I think one of the coolest things (that I didn't notice until I really looked at it) was the fact that the sign changes color WITH the tower! It could have been a simple sign, but that added touch is great.

Yeah, I actually posted that AM Cleveland show as well. I had it on an old VHS tape. Great stuff.

I just hope they fix the lights that are already broken on Windseeker before it opens. When I was there over Memorial Weekend I noticed that two of the light bars are broken while viewing Windseeker from the Wicked Twister line. They would show the opposite color they should be showing. For example, if the pattern suggested the light be blue, the light would actually be yellow and if the light was supposed to be green, it would instead be pink.

Sounds like a simple dmx addressing error. I presume they are all dmx controlled fixtures. Should be a quick fix within a few minutes.

C Wonderland windseeker blows up

I did not upload this and I'm sure it is probably BS but it was uploaded about 1 1/2 hours ago. I know it just looks like water on the lens.

BWAHAHA! Yea that's totally a water droplet on the window. Look at how the entire video distorts when the lady freaks out. I see nothing to assume or be worried about......nothing at all.

Hey Walt any chance for a high resolution version of the Magnum picture? That is a really awesome shot.
