Hey, was wondering something. I did a search on cedar point, and I noticed about 10 houses next to the parking lot on the beach side. Who lives in those houses. Any help will be awesome.
Thanks
I know one is Mr. Kinzel's and another is his guest home I believe... as for the rest... I have no idea... I suppose you could just go and knock on your next visit... except for I believe there is a security guard who watches that road... Or maybe I am thinking of the Chausee parking toll booth... haha...

Those houses are typically owned by the upper-management folks (Kinzel, etc) of CF/CP. I couldn't give you a complete roster of who lives there beyond Kinzel, but I reckon someone here will.

Yea I thought he lived there, but wasnt sure about the rest. Wow news travels fast. Donkey Kong does rock my socks off.
Thanks guys for the help
If I listed the property owners for all those homes, you'd probably only recognize one name. They're just people from all walks of life who can afford to live there.
However if you listed all the names on the Chausee, Im sure we would recognize a few more names...

Donkey Kong is probably the best classic arcade game of all time. I didn't know he's been staying at the Point all this time. ;)

What a nice place to retire. Donkey Kong rocks! We should send him a basket of bananas.
Anyway, that must be pretty fun to live right at the Point, although it must get old at times.

I can't imagine it would be that bad. I mean its not that bad back in LHP. You can hear rides running when you're outside, but its not so overpowering as to make it unbearable to be outside. It shouldn't be any worse for the people in the houses.

I doubt it. I only recognized a few, and I'm a local (transplanted).

Those times are called November, December, January, February, March and April.
The flooding can be fun. Same with the waves over your car as you drive. ;)

From what I can remember I believe once you are through the tollbooths you can drive down the road that Kinzel's house is on, but there is a sign that states that it is a private drive.

Are any of the houses owned by anyone "famous" besides Mr. Kinzel.
Also another thing, how do you get to the houses that you can see looking out across the water when you sit in the back at McDonalds on the causeway looking out the windows. There are some really big homes on the water over there.

The road is before the toll booth.

No one famous as far as I can tell.
For the most part, all the homes are on the Chausee itself. There are a few streets, though, that branch off the Chausee at its widest point. All are private roads.
cool, thanks Walt.
If I had enough money I would be buying a house somewhere around there on the water. That would be awesome!!!
There was a "shack" up for sheriff's sale about a year ago. It went for about $70,000... you would have had to gut it, or rebuilt it, but it would have made for a nice little summer home.
