Wind vs. Rides

I may have brought this up last year, but I forgot....anyways, at what wind speed will CP start to shut down rides/coasters...the day I go (May 13th), says that it will be sunny, but BREEZY! I'm kinda worried about hearing that...... :(

It varies by ride and wind direction. For example, if someone farts in the wrong direction, Sky Ride will shut down, but Magnum or Raptor might be running in a 40 mile an hour wind. It depends on the direction. Raptor is slowed by winds coming off the bay right at the block brake while Magnum is slowed out in the pretzle by winds coming off the lake.

Raptor won't run if the winds are higher than 25mph. Mantis can run if its windy, BUT if the winds start to get too high (30 mph) we will close down that ride.

20mph for Sky Ride..

Winds were gusting to 25 on Sunday..
