Wind + cold + rain and ride closures

Friday: No. We ended up going to Castaway Bay for the night.

Saturday: Watched college football most of the day from the rv. Went in late afternoon and had a great time so yes.

Sunday: Should be a pretty nice day so I'll forecast a yes.

It looks like a lot of the rides are running today including Sky Ride, Raptor, and Gatekeeper.

Wicked Twister was down for who knows what and Maverick and Dragster were having some of their usual technical difficulties but everything else seemed to be up and running today. It was chilly but I really didn't feel too cold until shortly before closing.

Wicked Twister went down Saturday night around 10:30pm and remained closed the rest of the night, and all of Sunday too. The mechanical issues mixed with the massive amounts of sand on the platform and in the ride's photo eye was just a maintenance nightmare. I can assure you maintenance tried everything they could to get WT up and running, but couldn't make it happen.

Yep... Sand was also all over GateKeeper's entrance plaza and even in the queue. Makes sense that sand got in all the wrong places on Wicked Twister since it's even closer to the sand.
