Will GL Closing Effect CP Attendance?

What do you think? Some of the ethusiasts say they will never visit a CF park again. Will this effect CP's attendance? I don't think it will make enough of an effect.

And DK KNEW back when he was in grammar school that he was going to head Cedar Point, merge with Valley Fair, watch Six Flags buy Geauga Lake, build it up, crash it down, then buy it for dirt cheap, operate at a loss for 4 years before closing it with absolutely no warning.

Anyway, it was a little shady that they made no announcement, and their excuses for not announcing it were pretty lame. But there is no 50 year conspiracy (or even 4 year conspiracy) to close Geauga Lake.

I don't see CP's attendance going down or going up because of GL. One of the big missteps Dick Kinzel said himself was the competition CP had on GL. Very few people went to GL for the amusement park side, instead they went to CP. The attendance at CP was already affected by GL before it even closed down.
