America's Roller Coast is the most famous of them all and sounds the best. I'm pretty sure that was put in use some time in the mid-90s.
Ride On is the first slogan since "America's Roller Coast" to really catch on with different spiels around the park.
I personally like the "Ride On", but I think CP has to work on its TV ads a little more. Instead of showing clips of rides use clever eye catching ads that can instantly be identified as Cedar Point.
While on the subject, I'm reading a book on the iPod and how successful it has become over a 5 year span. One of its key points is its advertising. Apple has found a style of ads (Silhouette Ads) that are easily recognized as being "the iPod". Few companies get this right, but it usually has huge impacts. I know budgets are an issue, but they can still find a way to create buzz.

I would have to agree with Gomez. Ipod ads are probably the most recognizable on the market.
I personally don't like the whole concept of the Ride On slogan. My computer certainly doesn't keep me from going to Cedar Point. I don't think Video Games and Roller Coasters should even be related in this way. I don't know anyone who would rather sit at home playing a Playstation instead of going to Cedar Point.
Coaster Fanatic Since 2003
I don't know if anyone noticed, but when Cedar Point posted the CoasterMania 2006 Flyer last year, it had the slogan in it.
I believe it was in the Itinerary Box describing how to get in and get the ERT badge and stuff. The headline was "Wake up and Ride On!". Never noticed it until Cedar Point started using it reguarly in their advertisments on TV.
In this years CoasterMania Flyer, it says "The fun starts early!". Maybe, granted if it follows the trend from last year, it will be something along the lines of "The Fun Starts Here!" or maybe "The Fun Starts Now!". Maybe a bunch of little spin offs using the word fun.
Just a thought. :)

Sex appeal? CP? Huh?
Just 'cause Dragster is shaped the way it is doesn't mean that's sexy. ;)

Ride on, MrScott!
You guys have dirty minds.
I love the "Ride On" slogan. I liked is just as much as the "America's Roller Coast" one they used before. Its nice when they can incorporate it into the rides when you depart. My friends and I actually commented on how it added to the experience when they said that when guests were departing from the station.
