Wildcat question

Hi Everyone

I was at CP last month and while in line for Wildcat I noticed something I have never seen before. After guests were unloaded in the unload area the empty car rolled forward to the staging area but it was slamming into the other empty car in the area as well. It was a very hard slam and very loud as well. It was kind of freaky! I was thinking that all the slammng of the cars could possibly loosen a bolt or maybe something even worse.........If that is the norm then no harm no foul. Has anyone ever noticed that before?

I think this has been happening as long as I can remember... but I'm not positive. I rarely ride Wildcat.

Yeah, it does, I love WildCat.

^ Yeah me too. In my opinion it truly is the smoothest coaster at CP.

For a tiny little coaster, that thing packs a punch. Plus, it's one of the few that make my stomach get that "feeling" on the drops. You gotta love Wildcat!!

Yes, that is normal for the cars to hit each other. I have seen that many times. You would think they would not let the cars slam into each other like that, but it apparently is not a problem. Actually, I think they should let the people stay in the cars when they hit. That would be a great ending to the ride, LOL !!

When ever I get in line, I never pay attention to the cars unloading. I'm too busy glaring at TTD watching for rollbacks..........and listening to how loud people scream on Iron dragon over there.

LMAO regarding your ID comment!!!

^ I second that. LOL!!

I always assumed the slamming was ok. I think Wildcat is highly underrated.

Widcat is a pretty good ride. But the line moves so slow. You look at the line and think that it won't be more than a 10-15 minute line and its a 1/2 hour and you still haven't ridden the ride.

Yep, the slamming occurs when they're stacking. One car in waiting, one in loading, and two in queue. The second slams into the first because I believe there is no second tire to stop it.
