So how much glue was that person sniffing when they ordered those colors...or was it a grab bag of paint?

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

Both...

They got it at a K-Mart store closing sale. It was what was left of the "Martha Stewart Everyday" Home Collection.

who buys paint in a bag?

But anyway it's bright, and sticks out a lot... but doesn't really bother me any.

I think it's a nice change, a lot better than the old "white with rust" look it had for how long. That and it brings more attention to the ride. I like the paw prints on the station coverings, they're cute! Did they paint the cars as well? I can't tell by the pictures...

The green on the sign for wildcat is awesome but the green on the ride is kinda ucky IMO. i don't like the way the green looks in contrast to the purple. it reminds of what would happen if a Rave threw up a rollercoaster. it would so be those colors lol

When I first saw the pictures, I didn't like the new colors. Actually being in the park and seeing it, they've grown on me. They don't look *THAT* bad. My only problem is the horrible contrasting yellow benches on the midway! They just look gross. I've noticed that this year in the park there are a lot of BRIGHT NEON colors. Not too sure about that...:)

The neon colors just look too much like six flags to me.

Yes I like the colors, but Cedar Point has always been a little rustic looking to me. Look at the area around Gemini and Frontier Town. I miss that look. Gemini's station is just out of place. Wildcat used to blend in when it was white.

Not sure about those neon colors though. Too trendy. The dulled rustic look is always in.

I think it's a subtle "park to park" branding technique. Those colors are exactly the same as Dorney's Laser and Knott's Boomerang.

Either that or they bought way too much paint and had to use it. ;)

I'm just surprised at the fact that they were able to keep it down to two colors. Cedar Fair has this obsession with needing to paint things as many primary colors as possible :oP

ok, so it's not rembrant, but at least it looks noticably new. i think that's all they were going for. now have they done anything about the brakes? from what i can remember, they always were a bit rough...
