wildcat paintjob

under is a picture of the wildcats new paintjob. Im not sure if i like it or not, hopefuly the cars get painted too.

Ha, I find it funny that the file is named "medusa north". It really does resemble Medusa's color scheme, which isn't necessarily a bad thing or a good thing.

That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I hope there's some reason in the grand scheme of things for that color scheme- that is, I hope that it's going to match its (new?) surroundings at least somewhat.

Yea...it does look kind of weird, but its still better than what it was before. Green and purple is always better than white and rust.

Yeah, I saw the new paintjob iin person when I was by the park Friday Nov. 1st. It was about 85-90% done at the time. It was kind of shocking to see the colors(had a 80's feel to it). The colors were definitely neon purple and yellow then. They might have changed the yellow to green since then. I also saw another ride that they painted orange, green and purple. Kind of ugly. Look for alot of "re-theming" for next year.

That other ride would be Troika [Troika Troika], right?

It appears so Mike. The ride was sitting in the parking lot on the ground next to Gemini. It looked horrific! The actual cars weren't painted yet but the supports were.

It would be cool if they added black lights to Wild Cat. Maybe in the low zone so they would shine up on the structure. I would like it!

I think that the new paint is an improvement on the old, worn color scheme it has had for so many years. I still think that it got Magnum's paintjob on accident. ;)

It is more colorful than what it previously was, but I don't really know if this was a good change or bad. Oh well, I don't really care how the ride looks, just how it the ride is, but it is always nice to have an attractive looking ride. This, on the other hand, well, it's different.

I think it would have looked better if the colors were reversed... yellow/green track, with purple supports...

I like the change though, it should stand out a little more now...

Does anybody know if they are refurbishing the sign also? It doesn't seem that orange and brown would go with the flourescent colors.

I like it, I think it looks good.

It's....... Eye-Catching?? I like it, but, it's.... Eye-Catching? I guess they want the little kids that walk down the midway, (along with other people who like the ride like myself) to have it catch their eye, and say, "WOW thats a cool looking ride let's go ride it", and while they're in line they'll say "wow those colors are reall Eye-Catching!"

Was WildCat Blue and Orange when it was first built.
