Wikipedia incorrect info?

Upon reading the Wikipedia info about Cedar Point, it says Jungle Larry died in 1991. JungleLarry.com says He passed away in 1984. I would assume 84' is correct right?

And second... Mean Streak has a Wikipedia page. It says "In 2007, trim brakes were added in an attempt to 'smooth out' several sections." Okay, so in 2007 did they add additional trims, or were they just talking about the trims on the initial drop?

Keep in mind anyone can edit Wikipedia. I could go in right now and write that they started construction today on a roller coaster that will be ready for opening day Saturday.

Cedar Point's Wikipedia page is really bad. It used to bug me and I've actually re-written parts of it myself. Not changing any information just fixing punctuation and in general smoothing it out so it doesn't read like it was written by a 5'th grader.

I stopped once I noticed that the literary dullard who wrote it was undoing my improvements.

Girl: "l want to ride that yellow one again... Twisted Wicker"
Me: "It's a roller coaster, not a broken clothes hamper."

If wikiepdia says is it must be true lol.

Wikipedia has incorrect info? Imagine that. :)

Wikipedia is only as intelligent as the person using it. It's a perfectly fine source if you know how to verify references. Do they still teach that in school?

Brandon

about 2 years ago someone wrote on wikipedia that there were 2 full size
18 hole golf courses at CP. LOL
Couldn't stop myself from correcting that:)

Maybe they forgot to include "miniature"?
