Wicked Twister "Tow-Back"

Just curious if anyone saw the crew towing the train back into the station?

It was late afternoon, and apparently E-stopped right before going up the forward spike.

I got over there not long after it happened, and watched for awhile. They had to manually release the all the brakes from train to station. They then got out a huge spool of rope and attached it to back of train. Then there were about 10-12 people pulling on the rope to get it back into the station.

I took a couple of pics and videos of it.

That happened to me the day before coastermania last year. That was the only time I got to ride WT, because it was closed down all day on coastermania last year.
That happened last year before it opened also...

It happened on the WT employee ride night. You should have seen all of management trying to tow it back into the station. Just as we thought we couldn't laugh hard enough, the ROPE BROKE and they all fell on their back sides. It was a great laugh,

was anyone there last year when they had to temporarily stop the ride because some guy lost his prosthetic leg. it fell off after coming down the rear spike and it tumbled around in the station. then they stopped it and a ride op had to run and grab it and threw it off to the side. they restarted the ride and i noticed a guys pant leg flapping every time they flew by. funniest thing ever.

How embarassing would that be, I mean, seriously... "there goes that da**ed trick leg again!"
Well, ya have to admit, it certainly wasn't the smartest thing to do.

I remember that vanessa that was one of the funniest things I saw all season. I also remember getting a memo (I worked on a ride that had your legs dangling unfortunatly it was not Raptor or WT) We got a memo with our morning note saying" Please ask all guests with prosthetic legs to remove them before boarding" we could even hold it for them.

When that gentleman lost is prosthetic leg, I was in the front car and only heard "someone lost a leg" and the girl that was with me started to flip out, not realizing it was a fake leg. But it was great to get launched twice.

The best thing about Six Flags "Worlds of Adventure" is that Cedar Point is nearby!
You know what jeff missing a limb is hell, i'm missing an arm, and until you loose an arm don't tell me its funny because you know what, it is hard to do every day things.

Yes,missing limbs add difficulty to everyday life, but you also have to have a sense of humor about.

My mom lost one leg then the other right before she died. But she was always joking about it! She managed to make it to CP in '89. I wanted to borrow it to take on Magnum! That would have been great!

Crow T Robot, I got that memo too, because I issued special access boarding passes in Town Hall in the evenings, and I would inform riders with prosthetic limbs that they had to remove them when riding WT, Power Tower, and Raptor. They were all pretty understanding about it and even got a chuckle at the idea of losing a limb on a ride.

I was there last Thursday and this happened right as I was boarding the station. I would've been suprised with a wierd malfunction like this on any other ride, but not WT.
