I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the engine room that Wicked Twister runs off of? I know it's not quite as big as Top Thrill Dragsters, but there has to be something behind that block wall.
Well, it's not an engine room. It's an electrical room.
And there's really nothing exciting back there. All of the 'guts' of the ride are behind large beige electrical panels.

Yeah, all that's back there are 20 or so electrical cabinets with plaques that say something like "Arc flash hazard, wear protective equipment at all times"
Not to be confused with Twisted Wicker 08 from 2002
Here's a construction picture of the inside of the electrical room.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And that's about all it looks like now... well, that desk on the right is cleaned off... but, yeah... there's your tour. Amazing, ain't it?

Thats pretty cool. I never really thought of WT having an "engine room", of course, I guess I never paid attention. *** Edited 6/30/2005 2:49:29 AM UTC by Kyle Dersch***

Rollbacks - 1 - Opening Day 2005
Last TTD train of the night (6-23/24).
The control room is where the ride operator sits to launch the train.
That picture above is the electrical room. It's that huge brick wall that runs half the length of the straightaway.

Is the electric room by any chance called "The clean room". :) *** Edited 6/30/2005 2:18:45 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***
