wicked twister cam moved

The wicked twister web camera moved from breaker to the new constuction cam 2 mounths ago. But now the cam that is on the observation tower of w t has moved to where will it go. is this a new constuction cam for the 2003 atraction. my thought is that the cp web page is going to do what it did with wicked twister and follow the proses on the site with updates.

There are three cams.

In the begining of the season there was the MF cam, [located on powertower] The beach cam, [located on hotel breakers tower] The WT cam [first located somewere around hotel breakers, closer to the construction than the beach cam, but them relocated to a games building near the observation tower]

The MF cam has stayed the same all season. The beach cam started as a WT cam, then it was turned to the beach during the season. Finaly it was turned to the construction a couple months ago. The WT cam has stayed in its current position for most this season.

The WT cam may of may not turn to the new construction.

I hope that they move the WT cam to the top of Power Tower, and point it at the construction. Possibly add another cam for closer range footage, so you can see more groundwork.

I just noticed that they have the WT cam down off of the main page, and I don't have it bookmarked so I can't go directly to it, but i am assuming it is "for maintainance" but they may be moving it this week... hopefully.

EDIT: I found the picture here and I see that the picture was taken around 1pm today so that may mean something. but again maybe just maintainance.

MF cam: on Power Tower
WT cam: inside Aquatic Stadium (on exit gate), then on top of games area, taken down recently
2003 cam: on Breakers Tower - pointed at WT for start of season, then pointed down at beach, then pointed at 2003 construction

I don't think this is a case of the WT cam being "down for maintenance" - I was at the park today and the cam was gone.

edit: interesting that you found that, ouluvdt2, I was over there at about 1:30 and didn't see it. So I don't know...

I found a camera in a little shed by the Super Himalaya pointing towards Area 51.

O wow, it would be amazing to have a cam so close to the construction site

Yup she did, it was the in-the-shack-looking-through-trees-some-****-cam. I remember her sayin that.

I think that the camera shed might be for the time lapse footage the park usually puts together for the new coasters.

we were standing on the Midway on Satuday looking directly at the WT cam so our friends could see us and then the next day it was gone.

a Silver Tag saw us doing it too...looked at us kinda strange and went on his way.
