Wicked Twister 2006

For the guests that have already been to Cedar Point, how has Wicked Twister been running?

I get to go in 8 days now :) May 19th here I come

It's running perfectly fine.

great to hear!!! wicked twister is one of my favs.

It ran great Sunday. They are packing the station now.

Meh... I wish they wouldn't do that...

I would have to agree with you on that. I hate it when they pack any coaster's station because it gets so confusing as to which line you are in.

Not to mention, people tend to cut, and act more disorderly. The ops can't pay as much attention to the gates. If one of them decides to shake, sit or kick them, down goes Teh Twist. Oh Well.

They weren't packing the station when I was there on opening day. I would have to agree that packing the station sucks. I wish they would stop doing that on every ride.

They didn't have anyone for turnstiles this week, so that's why they were packing the station.

I also noticed that it doesn't seem to be powering the LIM's all the way when it's going backwards. They seem to cut out somewhere before the station.

Maybe I just noticed that this year because of the music being gone.

[On opening day it was closed sometimes, but it opened up and ran great, If you sit in the second to last row, the second seat ( Facing the point) you will enjoy the ride alot more, me and my friends call it the " Money Seat " when you are backed all the way to the top there is no bars in your way, just a stright shot down to sand, its a great seat try it some time.

I agree as well with all those reasons, I like a clean lanch pad, look at Magnum and Raptor, it amazing no one get thrown over the sides...; ) !

Man what a mess - I wish that they would keep the three music tracks on the Intiman rides!! :-( From what I have read not many people liked the auto-speils (I did) but the music was so those rides!!!

The music is still there on WT and MF (went on Tuesday).

The ride ops were doing a great job when I was there and made the ride very enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and the person in the control room was varying the launches - I love when they mess with you on the launches.

Great job so far, WT crew!

Ok, so that means that the music from last year that was with the auto speil is back.

Of course we know that the speil isn't recorded anymore, its live.

So that makes both sides happy then. The recorded speils are gone, but the music has returning.

I know this makes me very happy. :)

I don't know if some of you remember, but I had said in the past that ride wasn't as smooth as it was back in 2002-2003. It might due to it being so close to Opening Day, but it ran very smooth on May 8. I take it back, I love the ride, 15-2 (Wasn't it the Joe seat or something?).

It's kind of sad to see that JIM is gone. Whoever he is, he will always be remembered.

I knew it was a three letter name starting with a "J". :)
