Why not the fastest?

So why isn't Cedar Point claiming Gatekeeper as the fastest winged roller coaster? They say its the longest and longest drop, but not anything for its speed? What is the deal??

I think they are close enough to be classified as the same type of coaster, even though one is Intamin and the other B&M.
