Why is the lagoon pumped dry and filled in so far

If this is going to be Launch-Tophat-Twist-Brakes, why is the lagoon pumped dry and filled in so far back? The last time I saw, the lagoon was dry all the way to nearly the pretzel on Iron Dragon. I know it does not go all the way to the pretzel, but close. The track footers for Project 2003 do not go that far back according to the cams or any pics. What is up?

I think becuase of the kill zone fence that is around the drop after Iron Dragon's second lift, that there is a possibly of a queing area in that area. The pretzel turn on the other hand, I'm guessing that it was just easier to dam off and pump out the area.

I wondered why the drained so much too when there will be plenty of queue room between the launch and return. Maybe it's to expand the midway. I hate that they ripped out so many trees for this ride. There had to be a better location.
my opinion is that there will be something on the mf island either the queue's or the ride i donno though
jt, the question had nothing to do with Millie's island... it had to do with the lagoons. Give it a rest, there will not be anything on Millie's island. If you know, please explain why the lagoon is dry so far back, otherwise, please do not address the question.
Ok, point well stated. And point is taken...

I just think that the dam gouing over to Millie's Island was just to get the water pumped out, and serving as a land bridge to get dirt to/from the famous "moving" pile that is under the first overbanked turn on the island.

There had to have been an area for all the construction equipment to get in and out. You can see by all the tracks that it was used quite a bit. I hope that they fill some of that area in with water again so it connects around the circle, but I'm not sure if they will.

Launch: Tophat: Twistage: Brakes...

...Denial is an ugly thing.

The lagoon was emptied because footers for the track and also for the station needed to be placed. You can't tell it from the cams or pictures. You would have to look up close.
