Why I DON'T want an S&S "ThrustAir" or Intamin "ro

Building an Intamin "rocket" coaster or S&S ThrustAir would make MF and Wicked Twister both completely redundant. If this coaster is built, you have pretty much combined MF and Wicked Twister. It's like building a 100 ft ferris wheel, then adding a 150 ft ferris wheel a year later. Why would CP build a coaster that gives you the same sensations as the two previous coasters built? It just doesn't make sense. Let's stick to a new sensation in coaster thrills. How about a B&M flyer or CCI woodie on the island!

Now, just how do you that this new ride will give the same sensation as Millennium and Twister. IF it is an Intamin "rocket coaster," it certainly isn't going to give the same sensation as MF and WT. Sure it will share similar characteristics. I'm asuming you haven't been on Xcelerator so, if not, you really don't know what it will feel like, like me. Look at Wicked Twister, when they announced it most of us didn't expect much from it, but it ended up surpassing our expectations.

That is all of course IF it were a rocket coaster.

I'd rather have somethig with loops this time around...for that area, a flyer. (or wood!)

5 admissions so far, and looking forward to many more!

I want a B&M flyer or floorless. I love B&M coasters and I think it would be a great addition to Cedar Point's ride collection. They always go for something unique, thats why I think a flyer or a floorless might be a possibility, but of course, that's also why a TA2K might be a possibility. We will all have to wait and see.
I agree with LOOPS. We need another looping coaster. B&M tops my list.
Personally i would be very surprised to see an S&S Power coaster installed after the vortex shredding that occured with the vertigo attraction causeing it to collapse. You may see a B&M floorless be installed over a flier or something simalair to X-Flight as Six Flags have experienced numerious problems with both prototypes. This is something that CP would take into consideration for sure.

After we have finished we start to think about all that could have been.

Mind you though, VertiGo is a totally different attraction when compared to a TA2k type ride. Structurally and, uh, ride-wise.

Isn't X-Flight a Vekoma creation?

Exactly, Xflight has problems but its Vekoma, just imagine riding a B&M Flyer, or and Intamin flyer hint hint

Why can't we get a rocket coaster with loops? Wouldnt be to much different than having lap bars on Outer Limits and all those other premier rides LIM coasters?

Hypersonic XLC- 17 seconds of ride....only 1.8 of which are fun
I personally would love to see a B&M flyer or Floorless. However, any coaster is good enough for me.

Rather then magnify the shortcomings of each type of coaster we need to find all the good things about every coaster.

I fool so feelish...

I would like to see CP build a flawless 4D, Dueling wood or Dueling Floorless, or a Mega Looper
You might be waiting a couple of years for any one of those.

July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy

I agree with anyone who thinks that Cedar Point should get some more looping coasters. They only have three out of fifteen. In my opinion, and Intamin rocket coaster with loops would be ideal. Airtime and inversions.

B&M anything, for God's sake. When was the last time they made a coaster you didn't want to ride for one reason or another? :) Of course, same probably goes for Intamin, Giovanola...

Beware of the articulate incompetant

It'd be nice for Cedar Point to have a 200 footer that twists, or a standard B&M looper, but Intamin seems to be the trend over at the Point, and I'm not complaining about that. :)
