Why does this look so strange?

Got bored and was looking back at the most recent set of pictures on CP's page. Why does it look like part of the rail on the track is missing in this shot?

I copied the pic and cleared it up in photoshop. Anyway, There is def. a piece missing. Infact it almost appears to be twisted right before it reaks off. I doubt if this was something the workers did installing it, that CP woould post the pic on there web site!
