Why does Mean Streak do a wheelie on the lift hill

I rode Mean Streak 5 times last time I was at Cedar Point, Three times in the very front seats, two times in the very back seats.  When I rode in the front seats, I noticed that when the Chain caught the train on the lift hill, the train did a wheelie.  Some added excitement if you ask me!  This happened in all 3 trains so I know it isn't just an isolated incident or that it is particular to just one train.
.. because the chain dog is located towards the back of the car.. when the pressure is applied.. the natural reaction to putting so much weight onto a single point is to left it.. there is a slight amount of play in the up-stops (to get the airtime) and that's what you're feeling...

That sounds fun.... I'm gonna have to try that next thursday...

On another note, Rob, if I wasn't very knowledgeable about Cedar Point, and I didn't know of Red Garter, your user-name would come across as very odd to me... ;)

Actually, if Mean Streak matches the usual PTC configuration, there is no chain dog on the lead car...the first chain dog is on the back end of the SECOND car, so the first car is literally being pushed up the hill by the second car, via the drawbar.
I wonder if there has been some change to the coupler configuration in the past couple of maintenance cycles, 'cause I don't remember the lead car doing that in years past.
