Why does Cedar Fair still have Great America on their site?

I was browsing around the Cedar Fair map of all the parks that Cedar Fair owns and operates, and found that Great America and Gilroy Gardens are still on the map. When you go to their websites too, they are still promoting people to buy season passes such as the Gold or the Platinum passes. This is weird since Cedar Fair sold both parks to a new company. Are they just waiting until the season ends at the end of October?

If I had to guess they're waiting till the end of the season. Both parks currently still Cedar Fair parks.

Has the sale actually happened yet? I know they announced that they were going to sell, but I don't think it's gone through yet.

^This. Until the sale actually happens, it is still a Cedar Fair park.

Yes and that sale is pending. Until the sale is closed, Cedar Fair still owns the park and it will remain on their website.

The transaction, which is subject to approval by the City of Santa Clara and customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Until the sale is approved and closed, the park is still Cedar Fair property.

Anybody known the changes they'll make to Great America? Any ride changes and name changes or if they'll keep the name California's Great America or anything else?
