Who's in charge of Halloweekends?

I wondered who is the head person in charge of running Halloweekends. Is there someone in charge of each park's Halloween event or is there a separate person working for all of Cedar Fair? Does this same person design all the haunts, come up with themes, etc.? I think it would be cool to have this job one day and wanted to know some more info about it. Thanks!

There is a building in the back by the soak city parking lot. John Taylor is the guy in charge of everything dealing with halloweekends.

It depends on what you mean by "in charge" of Halloweekends. Are you talking about the guy who designs houses/park decor, those in charge of Screamsters, Live Shows, etc? The event itself does not really have any one person that is in charge. Well, I guess John Hildebrandt would be who everyone reports to but each area of the event has someone who oversees it. John Taylor is only the Creative Lead for the event but many others have their hand in the pot too. John is the driving force behind a lot of the theme with the event but there is a committee that throws their ideas out there as well.

From a management and departmental standpoint, it's a collaborative effort between a lot of different people in operations, planning and design and live entertainment. If the buck really stops with anyone, it's the GM, like anything else. John Taylor in P&D is the go-to theme guy.

Thanks for the info. ^^And I was wondering more about who is in charge of coming up with each haunts' themes/designing the haunts.

^^Then that would be John Taylor that heads up that but there is a group that helps as well. Plus a lot of the themes are recycled from other parks too. Most come from Knott's Halloween Haunt with the exception of the few that are thought up from Cedar Point's history like Boeckling and Eden. Cornstalkers, Club Blood, Blood on the Bayou, CarnEvil, Toy Factory, Cut Throat Cove, Screamworks are all themes borrowed from other parks that had them first.
