Who was at opening day/weekend in 2009?

How were the crowds on opening day of 2009 and the next day?

They really aren't the bad. It's mostly locals and passholders.

There weren't that many people there..besides dragster lines never got longer than 45min all day

I was there last year and I would have to say the longest line I waited in was Maverick. The line for Maverick was an hour and fifteen minutes. At that time Maverick was 2 years old and still the newest coaster. Now that Shoot the rapids is around, it might be less of a wait. The only thing now is that we have to wait until May 29th to ride it.

Me and a few friends will be there. Heading to TTD first after Early Entry to try and get early season rollbacks. ;)

Off topic: Is anybody going to Kings Island next Sunday?

We were there opening weekend last year and we will be up there again this year. We are staying at camper village as usual. Crowds not bad at all. Just have to be patient to deal with the occasional downtime for rides and some rookie crews.

I went the day after opening day last year (2009) since opening day was rained out and the crowds were light from what I remember, nearly everything was a walk on, (then again I can't fit on TTD, MF or WT). So I really don't know how the lines were for those rides.

I was there, but I dont remember the lines much, all I know is everyone in the lines (even girls)? were constantly staring at me the whole time.......:)

I was happy to get a rollback on TTD though! That was the highlight of the day....

If I remember correctly, that was the day it took 2-3 hours to get a ride on Dragster, virtually every launch was a roll-back, and I didn't get one :(

Ha yea I was in line for front row from like 1-6 and watched every train get one with the exception of like 2 all day..lol sorry to hear that.i got 2 =D
