Who else is disappointed????
Some of you people are a little TOO excited for a ride that will last probably 10 seconds or so...I feel its's a waste of a 400' and 100+ mph coaster to just go up and down(even a couple of overbanked turns would have made it better)...CP should've made THIS their 300' coaster and Millenium the 400' one!!!
I give props to CP and Intamin for being so innovative when space is a huge issue. MF, WT, #16. All custom approaches when land is not available. HATS OFF CP!

I never said I wasn't gonna ride it; just that I was disappointed with it so I WILL be in front of you in line Dgenx321(a lloonngg line I might add).........I'm hopin this ride might shorten the lines for Millenium a little
I agree, to a point. I'm very excited to ride #16 and I think it's going to be awesome but I don't understand why they would just stop after building up so much speed. Let us ride out some of that speed on the overbanked turns and bunny hops. I know most of you don't agree with me cause you think it's going to take elements away from MF and Magnum. But I think they should add those it to make this CP's ultimate coaster.
And where would they get the space to put these elements and still leave room for the future?
Maybe they are working on another one for next year, but took more planning and development? Millie took 2 years of development. You want to wait 2 years for another one instead of this one? This is the first time CP has put in a coaster in back to back years. Does not leave much time for planning and development.
Think of the massive price tag and footprint on trying to build a normal circuit for this ride. Not to mention the fact that they couldn't run it in the rain because of the excessive speed it would be traveling through the course. We don't need another MF. If its raining when the ride is running the way it's designed, the only painful time will be the launch and part of the up side..and perhaps the very bottom of the drop before it hits the brakes. It's already painful enough riding MF in the rain...just add 15 mph onto that.
In conclusion...Hell no, I'm not disappointed.

Ok, ok...I give you props on the fact that it would be a massive footprint and the cost might cause problems for future development. I agree with you there (and that's why I'm not totally disappointed) but for all we know, this may be the last coaster for a couple of years just because of the lack of space at CP and I just wish there could have more to it. But there's not and I have to deal with it. I'll still be there in line waiting to ride it on opening day.
I'm kinda disappointed you people felt for this ride. this ride was built for the(advertisement),not the length of the ride,or how many min,it runs.Or if you like it or not! come on,cedarpoint dose't care if you like a ride or not.The only thing they care about is, if it brings alot people into the park,that's it!
I guess Cedar point has me spoiled....I just expected something more from their latest record breaker.............Just had a thought; how big was this contract CP signed with Intamin?? Pretty soon its gonna be called "Intamin Point" and next thing you know they'll be moving their headquarters from Switzerland(or wherever they're from) to somewhere on the 250!!!!!!!!! Although I am interested in their new woodie track technology(HINT TO CP)
Last coaster for a couple of years? Maybe for a couple tops. They haven't broken the bank on this ride. $13-15 million a year in annual cap expenditures leaves plenty of cash for new stuff.
