There have been MANY discussions as to which seat is the best on MF, but the argument that is more common between my friends and I is this: Is it better to sit in the right of the train or the left? The right has the honor of the inside seat on 3 of the 4 banked turns. The left gives a spectacular view of the lake on the way up the hill, and also is better for on-ride photos. So what do you guys think - right or left??

Left, you can lean out of the train on the lift.

Out of the 9 times I rode last year I went on the right side EVERY time. I meant to try the left, but I chose the right for a few reasons.
1. You have a better view of the park
2. You can hang out and look "under" the first and last turns.
3. You get 2 good hand choppers
4. You can freak the hell out of people standing in line by turning their way and yelling as loud as you can while zooming by.

i think the right side is the best side to sit on also
I generally go for the right for the reasons CP_bound stated, but the left side is awesome for the low, banked turn prior to the "Magnum Hill."
CPBound.. wouldn't leaning out of the car violate park rules to "Keep your hands, feet, and body in the car at all times" ??? ;)

MF 2001 - ???????
Left the view of the lake from that side is great. Plus there isnt anything on the left side but a straight dropoff.

I always went on the left side. I never really had a reason I just like the left side better.

MF Count: 11
First CP Rollercoaster: Corkscrew
Right seat. As someone stated before, you're hanging for dear life on 3 of the 4 banked turns, including the first turn and the queue bank. Definitely the Right side.

...But Red Garter Rob, rules are meant to be broken... :)
Besides, I'm not urinating off the ramp or smoking in line. LOL! ;)
I sat on the left side all but 2 rides last season. Mainly because of the view. However, the points you guys have made about the right side have made me think a bit. This is a very close call! Come next year I may have to flip a coin!

Left side -- because seeing Gemini upside-down is just way too cool!

CP_bound--your # 4 absolutely cracked me up! I never really had a fav "side" I think all here have good reasons. Definitely the lake view going up the 1st hill is awesome but its awesome to wave at the people on Frontier trail looking up at you like you are out of your mind.
I just always ask my ride partner which seat they want 1st.
(of course on Raptor thats a whole other issue)

Got my chaps, whip and spurs--LET'S RIDE!!
It's a hard choice, on the right side you have those awsome head choppers on the island, but the left you can lean out on the second island turn and on the lift, it's to hard of a choice.

We bought a lifetime supply of pudding? How wasted were we last night?!
*Dude, Where's my car?*
i always get in frist, so it leaves me at the left side. i'm usually the one convincing my friend or family member with me to get in and it will be so much fun, b/c they are usually chicken ****. hehe. next time i want right though, because i'm always looking at the lake.
LuvRaptor, I just feel it is one of my duties to get the oncoming guests pumped up. :)
An important duty at that, it makes waiting in line twice as fun, um, I mean half as boring. Getting pumped up for the Force is key. I also try and do my part and yell at the queue. :)
I only went left twice, and I must say right is better. My friends always think I am so nice when I let them in first. I just remind them of that later so I can get right side on Raptor.
right
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
