Which rides freak you out?

Just thought it would be fun to see what rides scare some people. I've ridden every ride at Cedar Point except for Max Air (afraid I will get sick but will muster up the courage some day).

I'm also afraid of (but still ride):
Cable Cars, Giant Wheel
I'm afraid of heights and those rides are so slow and you think about how high you are...

I also don't like all of the built up anticipation on these rides:
Top Thrill Dragster
Power Tower
I know most people love that sensation but I hate it! LOL

Top Thrill Dragster - That launch still scares the living S*** out of me. You would think I would be used to by now, but I'm not. :)

After i overcame my fear of all rollercoasters, MaxAir and Power Tower stilll looked very scary, but I have to say MaxAir is a great ride and so is PT launched down. Skyhawk was scary the first time as well

I'm scared of TTD. I've been on every other ride. Every time we go I always say that THIS time I'm getting on it, but I haven't yet. It can't be THAT bad right?? It's just so intimidating looking...and the thought of a rollback makes me want to pee myself. I would like to know a normal ride to rollback ratio. Does anyone have an educated guess?? Out of 100 TTD launches, how many rollbacks? We're going back in September...3rd trip this summer...THIS time I'll get on it. maybe.

^There aren't as many rollbacks as there used to be, because after a few years they figured out how to reduce these. They took off the dragsteresque spoilers that used to be on the back of the train and done other things to limit rollbacks.

The first time i rode dragster i wasnt nervous untill we were only a few trains away, but then i was really nervous!! I have to say tho that ride is worth the wait and the nerves. Great ride

That makes me feel better. I've never actually even SEEN a rollback . (other than youtube) Yet I'm sooo sure it will happen to me. :) The truth about it is...as scary as it would be I would probably love it. Just have to get over those nerves.

Demon Drop still gets me every time. The old commercial plays in my head when riding.

Giant Wheel, staying up on the top on a windy day really freaks me out, but that's about all that does in the park. I'd rather be on the top of TTD on a windy day ;) then again who wouldn't.

Dragster. I have not ridden it yet, although I have convinced myself I will in October.

Demon Drop is the only ride I have ridden that makes me shake when I get off. I don't get nervous on the ride, but when I get off I have the adrenaline shakes.

I have not done MaxAir or Skyhawk, not because of fear, I just haven't had a desire to spend the time waiting. I'd rather be riding coasters.

I've never seen a rollback either , and it would pry be sweet to have it happen.

^maxair and skyhawk don't even have long lines it just looks like it. Max holds 50 ppl

lol wicked twister. I have to laugh because I actually get those adreneline shakes after wicked twister, that ride gets me every time! The sudden takeoff just makes me jumpy and last time I rode it at night by myself so I was all nervous!

The Sky Ride scares me a little bit, yet I still ride it every time without hesitation.

It's mainly because all of the cars are supported by one cable, and if that one cable fails, everyone is going to crash to the ground. If there was a backup cable in place, I may feel a little safer.

TedFuzz. No longer manually signing posts. Too bad. =(
Cedar Point - America's Roller Coast!
Ron Paul 2008/2012!

Even though I love the ride, Millennium Force scares me every time! I finally got the nerve to try Max Air and it was way cool!

Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

Skyhawk scares the crap out of me everytime, causes me to have a panic attack afterward, but I can't seem to stay away from it. Haven't tried Power Tower or MaxAir yet.

I rode everything at Cedar Point numerous times. And the only ride that I always think twice about is Power Tower. Gives me a rush every time.

Call me a wimp..but power tower scares the living daylights out of me.

After having spent all summer working maXair...let me add that CodyR is quite right about the wait. Each cycle lasts about 2 in a half minutes and the cues only hold about 3 cycles worth of people,so even when the line runs out the cues and down he midway the line is hardly ever longer than a half hour or so.

Prior to Saturday I would have said nothing scares me at Cedar Point except for the occasional freak out on Power Tower. I rode Diamondback for the first time this Saturday and it scared the crap out of me. I wish more CP rides did not have seat belts.

Your mom is to fat to ride TTD.'s avatar

Demon Drop, Power Tower (down side), Drop Tower at Kings Island, and sometimes Ripcord.

Let's Get Weird.

Well the only ride that scares me is the ride into Cedar Point, everyone texting, talking on the phone, ohhh and ahhhhing at sky line. Trying to take the bridges of the cause way like the Dukes of Hazard.

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

Power Tower drop side. Skyscraper also freaks me out when you sit at the top when the other side is loading/unloading because there are just straps and you have nothing to hold on to.
