Which Coaster Club to Join?

Last year, despite having a platinum pass and being at the park during Coastermania, I was not eligible to participate since I did not belong to a coaster club. I'm not going to make the same mistake this year.

Other than a few dollars difference in price between them, is there a club that stands out or has benefits to membership more than the others, that I should consider? I remember something about GOCC having an off-season tour, but since we now have a Pointbuzz event that is less important to me. I need to join one soon so I don't get left out again. Thanks for any input or advice.

Of course they are going to tell you that the coasterbuzz club is the best club to join on here.....;)

Your best bet is to check out all the coaster clubs and see what they have to offer that is more important to you.

GOCC is the only one I'm still a member of. It's $20. Coasterbuzz is another good one. It may be too late to sign up for some and have your card in time for Coastermania, however.

Well, Jeff did mention in the last podcast that if you haven't sent it in yet, you need to hurry. In regards to GOCC, since I am the membership director :) I can tell you that I am getting cards in the mail within a day or 2. So if your in/close-to Ohio, you should have your card about a week after you mail me your registration.

I used to be a member in both ACE and GOCC, years ago. Then stoopid financial considerations got in the way and I was forced to drop both. I finally bit the proverbial bullet again last year and joined Coasterbuzz just so I could hit BooBuzz.

I have yet to join a coaster club, but really want to. I've never been to Coastermania at CP, and would like to go one year. A year when I can actually make it though. Only one trip to CP in July for me this year. :(

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I just joined Coasterbuzz because I was interested in Boobuzz which I was unaware of. I hope and pray the membership card gets here in time for Coastermania!

If you paid via Credit Card your probably ok. It's the people who want to mail it in that will probably have more difficulty.

I renewed my Coasterbuzz membership last week and got the card in 3-4 days (I was gone all weekend for opening day, so I'm not sure if it got delivered Friday or Saturday).
