Where will White Water Landing be now?

Where are they going to put White Water Landing now?

Buddy, They tore White Water Landing down after the 2005 season.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker

I really hope that was a joke. In case it wasn't, the ride was dismantled after the '05 season (as WT 90 said). The useable parts (i believe) are being used on other flume rides across the CF chain, if at all. Other than that, I believe that all other parts were sent to the trashbin.

Last public train of 2005 on MF!

wow

Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27

Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini

Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-

I bought it for 100 K and it is going in my backyard.

Yes, its unfortunate but WWL is gone forever. However, I do believe CP will add another log ride down the road. In a conference call they said that they wouldn't forget how popular log rides are, or something of that nature. I'd vote for the removal of Cadilac Cars, although it would fit better in FT (I'd hate to see Antique Cars gone however). Plus FT needs a bit of time to regrow trees and vegetation due to all of the construction recently.

Thrills Around the Corner!

Screw the trees... Tear them down and build coasters. *Laughs in an evil way* ;)

But I liske walking threw the Tree Infested Midway that is Frontier Town... Its So peaceful at 10am in the morning before all the wild and wet children ruin it :( ;)

Yea, I think they need to replant all the trees from WWL... I miss the shade and peaceful area it provided.

that is hard core geek to give little leslie some bull**** like that.

Maybe you should look at your waistline and think about another hobby. If you aren't under 35 inches then maybe you should think of a new hobby. Being that critiacal of someone will only make you a terrible person.

I'd personally be willing to set back a new ride in order to preserve the atmosphere. The Maverick animations all have a good amount of trees included. Do you think this is an accurate idea of what Cedar Point is going to replant? Maybe their next record could be for the most trees planted at a theme park in a single season.

Who says they can't build another flume right where the old one was?

Cedar Point always does a good job of planting trees and other landscaping on their new rides. I'm sure Maverick will have way more than the others, but with time, the forest will be back. Just look at MS's infield. Those were all tiny plants when the thing opened.
