Where is the best place to park in order to get in on opening day

The only people who arent allowed to park in the Soak City Lot is employees just ask at the toll booth to park in the soak city lot and they will point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the help.

Why aren't employees allowed to park in the soak city lot. I don't see a reason why they would want to but why can't they? Even the soak city employees?

Its because the Soak City lot isnt very big and on busy days when all the hotels are full and Soak City is full that parking lot is also full... And there is a huge section of the main parking lot reserved just for employees...

Actually, I recommend parking in the parking garage on the mainland and taking the CP Monorail to the park. But that's just me.

Speaking of trolls, did anyone else notice that they were absent from Halloweekends on the little bridge between TTD and Maggie? (just before the oddly-placed "lawnmower display")

My wife and I got a front row parking spot in the main lot last year. Opening day really was definintely unimpressive in terms of crowd size (not that I was complaining).

If you get there early enough, you will easily be one of the first 30 people in the park.

Check and see if Maverick is on the Joe Cool Club as far as early ert. If it is and you arent a hotel guest or a season pass holder with Joe Cool Club then your chances of riding it with a short line is very short. Since the park is open from 10 am to 10 pm opening day it may get very packed very early with all the hype Maverick has had.Its a chance opening day could be packed and looking at a 3 to 5 hr wait the whole day. If its on Joe Cool Club list for early ert then its gonna be crazy. Even if you get to the park early since i been Joe Cool Club, Force and Dragster has had a 30 min to a 1hr 30 min wait before the park opens. And Maverick could be the same thing maybe longer. Take into acount since its a new ride it could have bugs too and could be down alot or not open at all when the park opens. And Joe Cool Club was made 1 hr this year instead of 30 mins. A 30 min wait for a ride isnt bad but when it gets over 2 hrs then its good to wait till everyone eats or go in line towards the end of the night. Once you are in line before closing they cant make you leave the line. They keep you in line and let you ride till the line is no more. They cut off the line when the park closes but let you ride since you aready are in line anyway.

Best segue of the year.

Best place to park would be in a Lighthouse Point parking spot.

Do the parking spots at LHP involve water?

I like to park in-between the yellow lines in the parking lot.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Only if you park in Sandusky Bay.

Parking early in the season, May, and June, is'nt all that bad. This is my 4th season working at CP, and May and June are relatively calm. However, with the new Maverick coaster opening this season, it might be kind of crowded opening day. In July, and August, at the height of vacation time, it's wise to get to the park early. If you're a registered guest at any of the CP hotels, then you've really got it made.
