websites are your friend.
Demon Drop is going to Dorney Park. if you would like to see any news on that, go to newsplusnotes.blogspot.com for info. They have the best construction photos I have seen.
Pepsi Refresh is saving one coaster at a time: http://pep.si/bTTsfc
They did seem to throw some new paint on it. It looks like the support color for Wicked Twister. Look here:http://newsplusnotes.blogspot.com/2010/02/demon-drop-at-dorney-update-2510.html
I'm surprised the Cedar Point logo is still on the cars. I guess we'll have to wait a while for the new Dorney Park logos to go up on them.
^That probably wont happen for a while now. They could already be made and just sitting in the sign shop waiting for warm weather to be applied. Or just waiting for Maint to move the cars inside to apply the stickers. I'm sure its last on the list of things to be done.
Yea, vinyl applications on metal/aluminum surfaces would definitely be last considering the cold weather. And vinyl gets brittle in cold weather so you run the risk of tearing. Plus it's no fun applying in freezing temps with bare hands. Though that goes to say that rule doesn't apply to where I work since it seems just about everyone wants stuff in winter. :)
In any case, I can't see them applying new logos/graphics until the weather gets warmer....unless, like you mentioned 99, they plan on putting them on inside a temp controlled shop. There's also the possibility that they might want to repaint the carriages. If that's the case, they can't apply the graphics until after the new paint dries.

I also thought about this. Those cars have probably not had their off-season overhaul yet. So before ANY graphics are applied, they still need to be dismantled by Dorney mechanics. I don't know why that didn't strike my mind first.
I have been looking around online, and can't seem to find any recent demon drop re-construction pictures.Anybody know of any?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
If you go to Dorney Park's website, Demon Drop shows up now on the front page. However when you click on it, it takes you to ticket sales which is ackward.
