When I was there last weekend the WHITE train on corkscrew was missing and nowhere to be seen It wasn' even in that storage place below the station. I don't think they need a third train on it because the trains stack like crazy. When you have to wait on the block brakes longer than the ride lasts there is a problem!;)
That is cool to hear part of the Double Loop lives on! I was really upset when I was at the auction last year and found out the Double Loop was sold for scrap! Then when I saw it go down, man what a heart ache! I know that I really enjoy the Corkscrew at CP because it reminds me of the Corkscrew and Double Loop that we lost from Geauga Lake!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
That makes sense those trains came to Cedar Point considering arrow went down. Thats basically what they did with Whizzer (SFGAm)is that they took all the other rides that ran that car that were in the US and when those others went down Six Flags bought the trains to use as parts donors.

I thought I saw all 3 running at one time durring the day. But I do remember seeing the blue train on the transfer track also.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

I think if the third train didn't stop on the brake run, i would love this ride. This could help capacity plus not have the rider wait twice as long as the ride to exit. They could fix this by having the train come in when the train leaving the station when its half out of the station. I have noticed now that they don't check seat belts(what saves alot of time).
-if they ran 2 train operation, they could replace the long barke run with a heilx.(i know they wont do this.)

The safety belts on Corkscrew are different this year. They now have a push-button buckle attached to the shoulder bar and a strap attached to the seat. As a result, the belts are slightly easier to fasten and a lot easier to unfasten. This might speed things up a little from last year.

They rotate the trains and if there is any problems with any of them they derail them and take them to the shed and fix them there so it doesn't interfere with the operation of the ride during park hours, but have you noticed that the white train is faster than the others, even the operators have said the same about it.
I have not noticed the added speed of the white train. But I have only been on the ride once this year also.
Anybody else notice the trains from double loop(geauga lake) inside of mean streks bone yard? I wonder if they are using them for parts, or if they plan on replacing the old corkscrew trains soon.
